Genesee Country Village & Museum, 1410 Flint Hill Road, Mumford, will host a women’s suffrage centennial luncheon at 11 a.m. Sept. 23. Sally Roesch Wagner will present “The Rest of the Story of the Suffrage Movement,” a dialogue about the issues of equality raised by the country’s suffrage foremothers. The luncheon will feature rebel soup and salmagundi served with suffrage salad dressing, from suffragette cookbooks published from 1886-1920 to raise money for the cause. The museum will offer activities that highlight equality efforts made by women during the 19th century.Cost is $40-$45 and includes admission to the museum.
