November 25, 2016 is the 100th observance of the death of Inez Milholland, the U.S. suffrage martyr, on November 25, 1916. A memorial observance was held for Inez on Christmas day in 1916. Check out the web page for the InezMilhollandCentennial for 2016. President Obama has been asked to award Inez with a presidential citizens medal. Sign the petition on the centennial web site and remember Inez this year and over the next four years until 2020, the observance of American women voting for 100 years.
